There are so many people in the world who have had felt the itch down there. And not only this, the discharge that comes along worsens the situation. In reality we all have had tried to fight against yeast infection some or the other time in our life. How struggling it is to make it through a day with uncomfortable nasty problem. The worst part being is that boys can shamelessly itch, poke or scratch and even prod at ladies while the ladies just complain about there problem unable to help themselves. Although it has been observed that discharge and vaginal irritation are caused by yeast infection, but they may also be the symptoms of other vaginal conditions. Hence it is important to understand what exactly a yeast infection is, what are its causes and how can it be cured. Yeast infection is the result of excessive amount of a fungus called Candida in our body. Other symptoms that show the presence of this infection are soreness, bleeding and burning sensation during urination and sex. Yeast infection is sometimes a regular infection at the time of menstrual cycle. But prolonged and repeated yeast infection can also be a cause of weak immune system. A weak immune system could lead to HIV. In order to get rid of yeast infection, one must consult a doctor for diagnosis before treatment.
